Because the greatest guy in the world can now call the greatest country in the world home.
Yup, you guessed it. My DH is right now, as I blog, being sworn in as an American citizen.
Um. Yes. And I am home blogging instead of being there in person. (hangs head sheepishly while trying not to dwell on how badly I dropped the ball again this week....)
But we will be celebrating later on.
:)

How wonderful! Congratulations!
Congratulations! This means no more hockey right? Didn't he have to study his football terminology to pass the test? : )
Congrats to DH! I remember when Honey became a citizen. When he got back to college we all took him out drinking. It was a few months before we started dating.
Just be sure to keep that naturalization paper somewhere safe. It is almost impossible to replace if it gets lost or damaged. Luckily we learned this from someone else instead of finding out the hard way.
What a fun day at the NutHouse! Congrat's to your family.
So will the peanuts still say they're "half Canadian?" :) I distinctly remember Sports Fan telling me that, and Little Dear confirming it very seriously, 2 Christmases ago!
YAAY...that means now he can...vote....!!??? oh well, it's slim pickins this time around, but maybe THE WOMAN will set them all straight! Love to you all...see you in less than a month!
Congratulations, Meg!
Now he can vote....we see where my mind is. ;-)
WOW, very cool indeed!
CONGRATULATIONS to your family.
Congratulations and "welcome" to America! Glad to have him :)
Congratulations!!! Getting my citizenship was one of the happiest days of my life. The ceremony was at Fort Bragg and quite patriotic. The 82nd Airborne chorus came and it was fantastic.
