Cow, Interrupted

Ever hear this knock-knock joke?

boy: knock-knock
girl: who's there?
boy: interrupting cow
girl: interrupting co-
boy: MOOOO!!

Well, we have quite a few interrupting cows in this household. And doesn't Little Love know it. Every time she has something to tell me, the conversation goes something like this:

LL: Mama, guess what?
Me: What?
LL: Little Boo went into Little Dear's room...
(in comes Little Boo in tears)
LL: And then..
(Little Boo starts to talk)
LL: And THEN
(Little Boo still talking...)
LL: andthen andthen andthen...
(Little Dear storms in...)
LL: ANDTHEN ANDTHEN ANDTHEN
(boys show up to offer their version)
LL: AND. THEN. AND. THEN. AND. THEN!
(all the kids start busting up at poor Little Love)
LL: AAANNNNDDDD THENNNN!
Me: (hushing the others) What!?!
LL: Oh, WHATEVER!
(storms off as the others fall down in hysterics)

Hence the name Nut-House.
