The Answer

Life in a Nutshell
At least for now, is "NO" on the house we want to buy. We're not sure if that is final. There are a few issues that we found out about after the owner refused our counter-offer. It seems there are "neighbor issues"...pretty bad ones, too. We'd like to double-check this before we abandon the idea altogether...but maybe it's a good thing that this isn't going through right now.

Our house remains on the market. We'll see what we're supposed to do!


In other news, our cat chased a rat up into the siding of our house, and so DH made an unplanned trip to Home Depot yesterday and replaced all the boards along that side of the house. He worked through dinner just to make sure no nasty rats could get in while we slept.
