It was wonderful to hear your voice yesterday. For some reason, despite our distance and infrequent communication, I feel as if we are connected if not daily then at least weekly. Maybe it is through the spiritual realm? The intangible ties of kindred spirits? Whatever it may be, it is always a joy to hear your voice or sit down to a letter.

Have a great trip! We have yet to take a family trip farther than San Antonio and I'm beginning to get the itch to do more.
