...for when I call the children to come in from a sunny 80 degree day to pick up their toys....
in they come through the front door...
and out they go the back door...
Ah well, we'll enjoy it while it lasts, and the house can remain a disaster for now.

I agree completely. They can stay inside and clean when the weather is miserable. Let them play happily outdoors as long as possible. That's how we roll over here. :)
