My Little Snow Bunnies

Here is my parent's home in the mountains, completely covered with snow!

Here is DD #1 playing in the 2-foot drifts...

and DS #2...

And here is DS #1, working on this...

A humongous sled-run, starting at the front of the house, wrapping around the side, and continuing down the mountain to the back of the house toward the end of their road. It was a success for the most part, until daredevil DD #1 sailed over the banking wall her Papa had built and down the steep incline through brush and trees on the other side. She came to a rest after flipping over a few times off her inner tube. Luckily, she was not hurt, just shook up a bit. Grandpa gave her the award for the "most interesting" run of the day. DH said she had been whipping down the hill faster than any of the boys... Yes, she was the first (and only, so far!) to get stitches at the tender age of 4. But that's a different story. I just find it interesting that my tender-hearted girl is the most fearless when it comes to hitting the slopes. I guess the mountain is in her blood after all!

Our estimated time of departure is Monday morning. Prayers for a safe and sane journey would be much appreciated!
