The first one seems very controversial at first, but upon further reading, makes perfect sense..... very interesting.
I've always been uncomfortable with wearing my religion "on my sleeve" and I think there are some problems with my hesitation, though not in the sense that Mr. Scheske means. He actually posits that "most" people who wear their religion on their sleeve are "unstable"......wow, eh?
The next one is about discipline, and tough decisions. And it's by my favorite Catholic Exchange author, Mrs. Elizabeth Foss.
Her article is a good reminder to us parents to follow through on our discipline strategies even when it gets tough. The example of a George Mason University basketball coach is very inspiring.
